Country music fan or not Nashville is one hell of a party city. It immediately goes to P1 on my list for great cities to have a race (sorry Toronto, Long Beach).
Although it was nearly 95 degrees everyday and an incredible walk back and forth over the bridge, it was worth all the hard work! Most sessions resulted in sweat dripping in my eyes burning while I would shoot, also looking like I jumped in a pool. We couldn’t drink enough water. My media center table looked like a small recycling center facility with all the empty bottles.
Sure the track and racing could use some polishing but that’s easy. The promoter staff knows how to throw and event and the crowd was incredible!
I’ve been to Nashville a handful of times and never considered myself a huge Broadway guy all though I have been known to party 8 days a week. I’d say this previous week changed that. Hell, I’m ready to go out. I miss it!
I have no doubt next week will be just as amazing! Check out some of my favorite images from the big weekend and let me know what you think!
