I recently took a trip to Gary, Indiana to make some memories of forgotten places. Downtown I found this beautiful church missing a roof. Gaining access to abandoned destinations can sometimes be a challenge. In this case, after driving around the block a few times, I was able to find a clear path in. Entering an abandoned building for the first time can fill one with infinite anxiety! Am I alone here? Are their safety challenges ahead? Will cops or owners catch me here?
Exploring these abandoned treasures is one of the few things i’ve always done that I can still do during this pandemic. It’ll be sad to one day explore some of my current favorite places permanently closed due to the global virus
